Last week we hosted our first sustainability leadership event.
More than 200 sustainability leaders gathered to celebrate our collective strides towards a greener future.
Guests included members of our CitySwitch, Better Buildings Partnership, Sustainable Destination Partnership, smart green apartments and grants programs.
Here’s a snapshot of some incredible results:
- Better Buildings Partnership members have reduced emissions intensity by 95%.
- CitySwitch members have reduced emissions intensity by 58% since 2022.
- Sustainable Destination Partnership members have reduced emissions and water use by 24%.
- Smart green apartments members are saving a whopping $9.9 million_in water and energy bills by upgrading their buildings.

While we celebrate these milestones, we recognise there is much more work to be done to accelerate climate action, reduce our environmental impact and create a sustainable Sydney.
