Cultural and creative life

Apply for subsidised cultural and creative spaces in Ultimo and Darlinghurst

We’re calling for expressions of interest from potential tenants for City of Sydney-owned spaces in Ultimo and Darlinghurst.

Multiple spaces are available at the William Street Creative Hub and one space is at the Ultimo Community Centre, facing Harris Street. Potential tenants can apply for up to 100% rental subsidy and a 5-year lease term.

The spaces are offered through our accommodation grants program.

The program supports community groups, organisations and services that encourage community development, enhance social, cultural, and environmental programs and services, and address community opportunities and needs.

If you have a strong artistic or creative vision, and are committed to developing a practice that benefits residents, workers, and visitors in the City of Sydney local area, you could be our ideal applicant. Priority groups include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

We’re open to numerous operating models and both not-for-profit and for-profit entities are welcome to apply.

Applications close on Monday 2 May.
