Ambassadors are mentored with free training, work integrated learning and volunteer opportunities to develop leadership skills and work on projects for international student communities. The program also helps them make new friends, build local support networks and develop a sense of belonging.

- students from 12 countries and regions
- speakers of 19 languages
- 9 tertiary educational institutions
- majors in 15 faculties from applied science, and business administration to information technology.
Meet the team at the Lord Mayor’s official welcome for international students in Centennial Hall at Sydney Town Hall on Wednesday 26 April. The event is free but registration is essential.
The event recognises and celebrates the contribution international students make to Sydney’s vibrancy, liveability and cultural diversity.
