Covid-19: City of Sydney cancelled and postponed events

As a result of the ban on mass gatherings over 500 and indoor gatherings of 100 or more people, the City has cancelled or postponed the following events:

  • City farm volunteer working bee, Wednesday 18 March
  • City farm volunteer working bee, Saturday 21 March
  • Growing fruit in the City, Saturday 21 March
  • Your free tree giveaway, Saturday 28 March
  • Sydney Climate Action Summit, Tuesday 31 March – Thursday 2 April
  • Raising the Bar, Wednesday 1 April
  • Youth Fest, Wednesday 1 April – Tuesday 21 April
  • Lawn Library pop-up at Redfern Community Centre
  • Green Square guided rides
  • Strata Skills 101
  • Refugee Week
  • All April school holiday program events

All events at our libraries have also been cancelled until further notice. These include:

  • Darling Square Library
  • Green Square Library
  • Customs House Library
  • Green Square Library
  • Glebe Library
  • Kings Cross Library
  • Newtown Library
  • Pyrmont Library
  • Surry Hills Library
  • Ultimo Library
  • Waterloo Library

All events at our community centres have also been cancelled until further notice. These include:

  • Pine Street Creative Arts Centre
  • Redfern Community Centre
  • Harry Jensen Community Centre
  • Juanita Nielson Community Centre
  • Ron Williams Community Centre
  • Cliff Noble Community Centre
  • St Helens Community Centre
  • King George V Recreation Centre
  • Pyrmont Community Centre
