The Covid-19 virus has had a devastating impact on our local businesses, services, creatives and communities.
We can all see the effects on our local retailers, restaurants, trades and professional services, cafés and bars and sole traders, putting thousands of Australians out of work.
The Surry Hills Creative Precinct and other local chambers have come together to create Local Rewards. The program is designed to reignite our local communities and drive more people in to our shops and businesses.
Local Rewards is a prepaid card program that allows businesses to offer rewards and deals to shoppers like 10% discounts and 2 for 1 meal specials. Customers will be able to purchase these cards to redeem special offers advertised through the Local Rewards program.
It’s open to businesses who have an eftpos terminal, including sole traders and consultants in the specified areas.
