NSW Health has put out a Covid-19 alert for a restaurant in Newtown

Anyone who dined at It’s Time for Thai restaurant, 233 King Street, Newtown on 28 August 2020 between 5pm and 8pm is considered a close contact.

Isolate immediately and get tested

Anyone who dined at It’s Time for Thai restaurant, 233 King Street, Newtown on 28 August 2020 between 5pm and 8pm is considered a close contact.

They must immediately get tested for COVID-19 regardless of symptoms.

Then isolate for a full 14 days since attending, even if the test result is negative.

On Friday, 4 September NSW Health also put out an alert for Kuleto’s Cocktail Bar in Newtown for anyone who visited on Friday 28 August.

Monitor for symptoms

Additionally, anyone who attended the following venues is considered a casual contact of a case and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop:

  • Newtown Train Station on 28 August 2020 between 5.10pm and 5.20pm
  • BWS bottle shop, 123 King Street, Newtown on 28 August 2020 between 5.15pm and 5.40pm
  • Off Ya Tree clothing and body piercing store, 225 King Street, Newtown on 28 August 2020 between 7.15 and 7.55pm
