1. Swim and exercise free or just enjoy Sydney’s fabulous summer by the pool

Get healthy at one of our world-class aquatic centres. Pools and gyms will open their doors free of charge with opportunities for swimming, exercise classes or the chance to just relax by the pool in this great summer weather with friends. Available for City of Sydney residents 55 and over.

2. Just for fun

Indulge in a complimentary high tea at Glebe Town Hall or take a harbour cruise with friends.

3. Try your hand at a new sport or skill

Never stop learning or trying new things. Learn to play bridge or join others for a spot of table tennis at Ultimo Community Centre.

4. Get crafty

Join our glaze a cup course. Learn an exciting new skill and meet new people in this fun 1.5-hour ceramic glaze decorating workshop at Ultimo Community Centre or Juanita Nielsen Community Centre produced by Pine Street Creative Arts Centre.

5. Stay creative

If you enjoy being creative, you might like to take part in a social art and craft group at Cliff Noble Community Centre, where people make friends and learn new skills from each other.

6. Join a free talk or workshop

Participate in an English conversation class for beginners in a friendly and supportive environment or discover the excitement of food through stories and cooking from different cultures.

There’s just so much going on. See the full Seniors Festival program.
