Sustainable living

Energy, water, waste: 3 handy guides for apartment buildings

Building managers and strata committees use this practical how-to information.

3 guides

Most of the carbon emissions in our local area come from buildings. And more than 80% of our residents live in apartments.

Through working with 269 local apartment blocks, we’ve found they can easily cut bills by one-third thanks to low or no-cost solutions.

Realising the economic, social and environmental benefits, more and more building managers and savvy apartment owners are keen to upgrade their properties. We’re all striving for net zero emissions.

We heard it can be difficult to find neat summaries of basic information tailored to apartment buildings. So, we created the following 3 guides.

Energy guide

Learn how to rate your building’s performance, develop an energy action plan, monitor energy use, the benefits of sub-meters, install a solar system and go all electric. Discover how Aquilon, a building in Camperdown, reduced its electricity use by 60%.
