Sydney Harbour is much more than a pretty sight. Did you know it’s home to hundreds of species of fish?

Renee Cawthorne, Indigenous education project officer at the Australian Museum, shows us some amazing ways First Nations peoples used the natural resource for food and medicine.

Humans have had a huge impact on the harbour’s health. Dave Booth, professor of marine ecology at the University of Technology, Sydney, tells us how it’s changed over time. And former Sydney University marine ecologist Rebecca Morris tells us how simple flowerpots have proven to increase biodiversity.

Plus, Sydney Opera House is building an artificial reef. Emma Bombonato, environmental sustainability manager at Sydney Opera House, talks us through the ambitious project.

Tails of Sydney is inspired by Something Else is Alive exhibition at Customs House.
