Concerts and choirs to spread Christmas cheer

Published 27 November 2022

Sydney locals are being invited to put on their Santa hats, pack a picnic with friends, and head to some of Sydney’s favourite local parks for one of six Christmas concerts.

Featuring live entertainment, carols, craft activities, tasty treats, and a visit from Santa, the free concert series is a festive favourite with children and adults alike.

Each of the concerts will run from 6pm to 8pm and have craft activities, kids’ games and food trucks including Gelato Messina.

Families can also have their photo taken with Santa for a $5 donation to the City of Sydney’s charity partner, the Kids’ Cancer Project.

“For the last couple of years, we’ve had to put our concerts on hold, but now is the time for us to come together and celebrate the festive season,” Lord Mayor Clover Moore said.

“Christmas is a time to enjoy with friends and family, so I encourage everyone to come along and settle in for a fun evening of music, food, and entertainment.”
