Gold rush: Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games 20th anniversaries

When our city hosted nearly 11,000 athletes from 199 countries.

  • Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games

    Sydney was globally centre stage once again from 18 October 2000, to host competitions including cycling around Centennial Park, Moore Park and Queens Park. Here, Lynette Nixon and Lyn Lepore on their way to gold in the road cycling.
