E-waste: what really happens after you drop it off

So, you drop off your unwanted power tools, vacuum cleaners and DVDs. What happens then? Follow the journey of e-waste from drop-off to reuse

It’s time to send your e-waste to a better place. Australia produces more than 650,000 tonnes of e-waste every year, which can be highly toxic if it’s not disposed of properly.

Luckily, it’s easy to keep old electronics out of landfill. The next e-waste drop-off day will be on Saturday 24 November 2018 from 9am to 3pm at the Sydney Park Depot, 54 Barwon Park Road, Alexandria.
