Refugee Week 2021: Hear the stories of three people who now call Sydney home

Refugee Week runs from Sunday 20 to Saturday 26 June. Together with the Asylum Seekers Centre and Amnesty International, we hosted Band Together – a night of conversation and music live from Town Hall on Wednesday 23 June. Speakers included passionate refugee advocate and former Socceroo Craig Foster, refugee and musician Farhad Bandesh and refugee Roaa Ahmed. Rock legend Jim Moginie from Midnight Oil peformed live with Farhad and friends from The Celibate Rifles, Youth Group and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
