1. Develop your skill set with LinkedIn Learning
City of Sydney library members can access more than 16,000 micro and in-depth courses. Topics include everything from software and technology to creative pursuits and business skills.
Free on-demand courses taught by industry experts are available in 7 languages.
Start your online learning today by taking a bite-size tutorial or a comprehensive course.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded once you finish a course. With more than 60 new courses added each week, there’s something for everyone.
2. Learn a language with Mango languages
Jump into learning a new language with interactive, step-by-step guides. There are over 70 languages to choose from.
Use practical conversation-based methodology, with notes that provide context and insight. Practise speaking your answers with quiz slides and pronunciation tools. Colour mapping shows relationships between languages.

3. Increase your tech skills with Be Connected
Be Connected is a free Australian Government initiative to increase the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians when they use the internet and everyday technology.
Access interactive online activities, learn to search the internet, use email, connect with family and friends on social media, make simple video calls and get help setting up personal MyGov accounts.
It’s available online from the federal government.
Members can access the Be Connected website from all our libraries, through the public access computers.
