Dust off your reindeer ears, put on your party shoes and kick off Christmas at our free concert series across Sydney.
The first of 6 free concerts will kick off in Pyrmont on Friday 1 December and roll out across Surry Hills, Rosebery, Rushcutters Bay, Glebe and Alexandria. Performers include Sydney Philharmonia Choir, Justine Clarke and The Listies.
The largest Christmas tree in NSW will delight audiences from sundown on Thursday 30 November and light up every evening until Wednesday 27 December. Visit the tree at the George Street end of Martin Place. It’s sure to delight with more than 110,000 LEDs, a 3.4m colour-changing star and 330 specially created glossy baubles.
Enjoy choirs singing carols under the Martin Place Christmas tree from Friday 1 December to Saturday 23 December. See a kaleidoscope of colours and decorative lights every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight.
Soak up the city's festivities with a trip to our beautiful markets, open from Friday 24 November and the whole weekend and then every Thursday, Friday and Saturday leading up to Christmas. A chance to shop Christmas goods from fashion, gifting, candles, toys, accessories, art, photography and lots of delicious food.
For all things that sparkle, wander through Pitt Street Mall under a shimmering canopy of lights and stars. See the spectacular Martin Place tree and a light show, and Christmas light projections around Sydney Town Hall and St Mary’s Cathedral every night from 25 November to 27 December.
