“NAIDOC Week is a time when we can all get together, celebrate how far we’ve come and look towards the future to how far we’re going to go,” Yuin rapper and We are Warriors creative director Nooky said.
“We’ve got Becca Hatch, the up-and-coming Jem Cassar-Daley and a whole heap of other acts – come through on 10 July and see the next generation of Blak talent.”
Running from 6 to 13 July, this year’s NAIDOC Week theme is ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy’.
This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week celebrations, a time to honour the legacy and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
