With Covid restrictions across Sydney, the NAIDOC Week program looks a little different this year. Fortunately there are still ways to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC celebrations are taking place from 4 to 11 July. Some dates have been extended.

Get crafty with a free online weaving workshop
Join Ronnie Jordan from Culture on the Move to learn the ancient art of weaving. You'll receive a weaving pack through the post ahead of the workshop to make your own basket.

Watch NAIDOC in the City live
The 2-hour show for the whole family presents a range of performers, stallholders, workshops and giveaways. Speakers include Aaliyah Bradbury and Jake Gordon.

Help represent First Nations communities on Wikipedia
Do something different for NAIDOC this year and represent First Nations people in this Wikipedia edit-a-thon. With the help of workshop leaders, you’ll join a group to improve articles of importance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on Wikipedia.

This year's NAIDOC theme ‘Heal Country!’ calls for stronger measures to recognise, protect, and maintain all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage.
