Locals put forward their favourite takeaway places

While lockdown has hit all of us in different ways, the Sydney community is continuing to support its hospitality industry.

Sharing the recommendations on the City of Sydney Instagram this month, many cafes and restaurants sent though messages of thanks for the call outs.

In Redfern, you can enjoy ramen from RaRa Ramen on Regent Street or get some artisanal gelato at Ciccone and Sons. On the other side of the city, you can find Flour and Stone in Paddington, delicious Indian at Surry Hill’s Don’t Tell Aunty or enjoy a coffee near Sydney Park at Aslan Coffee.

Just remember, single-use plastics can be hard to avoid when ordering takeaway food during lockdown. Small things like making sure to ask for no cutlery can help cut down on your red-bin waste.
