Have you got a great bike-related event, service or project that engages your local community? You can apply for a City of Sydney matching grant up to $10,000.
We’re looking for local projects that engage the community, develop skills and build a bike culture. Or perhaps you have an interesting event idea for Sydney Rides Festival.
The grant is also open to for-profits businesses with projects that activate their local area and involve local business or community groups. Previous bike related projects include:
- Bike 2 Bourke Challenge – a program to get Bourke Street Public School children riding to school
- Veloscape; A Curating Cities project – a creative research project exploring the unique perspective bike riders have on the urban environment
- The Bicycle Garden workshops – a volunteer-run program of community workshops where anyone can learn to build, maintain and repair bicycles
Think your project ticks all the boxes? Learn more about our matching grants.
